You don't hire me for motivation. You hire me for movement.

I work with leaders who live in the real world. Pressure. Complexity. Moving targets. Environments where clarity is oxygen and performance is non-negotiable.

This isn't coaching in the traditional sense. It's partnership at the point of pressure. I challenge assumptions, bring frameworks built from experience, and stay in the room until strategy becomes action.

My methodology is simple to say and hard to do. Discovery, Design, Development. We define where you are. Here. We chart where you're going. There. Then we close the gap, fast.

One belief runs through all of it. Complexity is fine. It stretches us. Complicated is fatal. It stalls us. My job is to help you hold the first and kill the second.

Since 2007, I have logged more than 13,000 coaching hours with 245 leaders across energy, finance, manufacturing, healthcare, advanced technology, sport, family enterprise, and major consumer brands. Some of those relationships now span more than a decade. Clients have become successors, moved into larger leadership roles, built and sold companies, and guided institutions through consequential change. The achievement is theirs.

Here's what that looks like from the people who've done the work:

"As President of a multi-billion-dollar business with thousands of employees, I face high expectations and complex decisions daily. I don't let many into that circle, but Dean Miles earned his place. He helped me lead more decisively, think more clearly, and communicate with purpose, ideal for senior executives focused on continuous improvement."
– Joe St. Julian, President, Nuclear at AtkinsRéalis

"Dean truly meets his clients where they are. One of the most impactful exercises Dean did with my team was an alignment exercise. To put it mildly, we were not aligned, but Dean worked with the team and me to take concrete steps to improve our cohesiveness and set up structures to track our progress. Even though there were lots of tough conversations, Dean ensured we laughed out loud a lot, which meant I always looked forward to our meetings."
– Feargal Moorhead, Chief People Officer, Zoox

"What I loved most about working with Dean was the fact that he listened to where I was coming from and brought thinking to our conversations that fit that. He reminded me to be a better version of me, not a different person. Dean helped me triage feedback to decide which comments merited action and which didn't. I hope to work with Dean again in the future!"
– Elizabeth D'Aunoy, President, PumpMan

Ira S. Wolfe is a workplace futurist, Hall of Fame speaker, bestselling author, and one of the world's leading voices on the future of work, leadership, adaptability, and human potential in an age of exponential change.

He lives at the intersection of fascination and apprehension.

Fascination with the breathtaking pace and expanding scope of change—and with the possibility that the convergence of AI, emerging technologies, entrepreneurship, and human ingenuity can improve education, find cures for chronic and devastating diseases, protect our planet, reduce poverty, and unlock opportunities previous generations could scarcely imagine.

Apprehension not because of change itself, but because the pace and scope of change are making our world increasingly incomprehensible. Our institutions, leaders, and mental models evolved for a world that was merely complicated. We are now navigating one that is complex, chaotic, and often beyond our ability to fully understand in real time.

Equally concerning is how difficult it is for many people to acknowledge just how quickly the world is changing around them. We continue to make decisions using assumptions, systems, and playbooks built for a world that no longer exists.

As publisher of the *Never Normal News* newsletter and host of the award-winning *Geeks, Geezers & Googlization* podcast, Ira explores what happens when accelerating technology collides with human behavior, institutions, and deeply rooted assumptions about work, learning, leadership, and success.

One belief sits at the center of his work:

**"The path was never as predictable as we pretended. We just got away with pretending for a while."**

For more than three decades, Ira has challenged leaders, educators, and organizations to rethink outdated assumptions about careers, talent, education, and leadership in a world that no longer behaves predictably.

Today, his work is increasingly focused on a simple but provocative idea:

## The Entrepreneur is Hiding in Every Classroom

Not every student will launch a startup. But every student—and every employee—will need entrepreneurial thinking: curiosity, initiative, opportunity recognition, adaptability, resilience, problem-solving, and the confidence to act amid uncertainty and ambiguity.

His white paper, *The Entrepreneur in Every Classroom*, argues that entrepreneurial mindset should not be confined to business schools or innovation centers. It belongs in every discipline, every organization, and every career path.

Ira is also a leading advocate for adaptability as the defining competitive advantage of the 21st century and is a Level 2 Certified AQai Consultant.
