Smart Tools vs. Tired Minds: Mental Health in the Age of AI
We have never had smarter tools to help us with our work, and yet we have never been more mentally exhausted. How can this paradox be explained?
This talk sheds light on the new reality shaped by the widespread use of AI: cognitive overload, dependency, and a disconnect from our own thinking and judgment. Drawing on research, workplace data, and real-life examples, we will discuss how we can use AI without burning out and without losing all that ultimately makes us human: our empathy, our integrity, our ability to think, to choose, and to make mistakes.

How to STOP Starting, START Finishing
TEDx Talks
July 09, 2025
What if having many talents isn't a burden, but your biggest superpower?
In this inspiring TEDx talk, organizational psychologist and business coach Zoe Fragou introduces a bold idea: it's not enough to have potential, you need to turn it into ability.
If you've ever struggled to focus, finish what you start, or choose one path when you love many, you're not alone.
Zoe Fragou explores what it means to be a multipotentialite in a world that worships specialization and how to master the art of choosing, finishing, and thriving with multiple callings.
She shares real stories, from Olympic athletes to Scrabble champions, and offers 4 practical tools to help you go from scattered to strategic:
-Self-awareness
-Growth mindset
-Proof of progress
-Honest feedback
“Potential is a promise. But ability? Ability is a legacy.”
About the theme: Amalthea
In Greek mythology, the Horn of Amalthea, also known as the Horn of Abundance from which Zeus was fed, was a symbol of prosperity — a vessel overflowing with nature's gifts and gems, representing the ultimate satisfaction of desires.
However, the focus on material prosperity and the acquisition of wealth raises a question: if the horn of Amalthea were full today, would it give us the same sense of fulfillment?
And ultimately, what does abundance really mean?
Is it the accumulation of wealth, or is it a mindset that challenges scarcity?
What if we defined success not by how much we own, but by how much we share?

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) in Organizations (Greek)
HResearch
May 29, 2026
In this episode of HResearch, we speak with Zoe Fragou, an organizational psychologist, creator of the podcast "Straight Outta Life," and founder of Fragoulous Minds, about diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in modern organizations and examine whether DEI is a genuine organizational need or, in some cases, functions more as a trend. At the same time, we analyze the key benefits that can result from implementing DEI practices, how a culture of inclusion can be fostered both within organizations and in society at large, as well as low-cost practices that even small businesses can utilize. Finally, we discuss the future of DEI in the age of artificial intelligence and how organizations are called upon to adapt to a constantly changing work environment.

The conclusion I’ve come to after years of working with both sides of this conversation is that hashtag#GenZ didn’t lose their work ethic.
They lost their faith that work would deliver what it promised.

I’ll be talking about something we don’t discuss nearly enough in professional circles: mental health as a career tool. Not as a wellness trend or an HR talking point, but as a concrete lever for how you perform, lead, and grow.
