Thinkers360: Tell us a bit about your background and areas of expertise.
GB: .I have over 25 years of experience in the field of Artificial Intelligence, with a particular focus on price optimization and predictive analytics.
My career has been marked by successful entrepreneurial ventures, having raised $9m in VC funding and collaborated with Fortune 500 clients worldwide.
I have designed & launched AI applications, including Price Optimization and Strategic Forecasting, and created a Predictive AI framework that proved accurate over the years.
During the past three decades, I leveraged this framework to:
- Predict the growth of the global economy for 17 years
- Give an early warning of the 2008 crisis
- Identify major local market turnarounds for 10+ years
and helped enterprises:
- Optimize their pricing
- Increase their revenue & market share
- Improve conversions
- Change their strategy, resulting in market share leadership
Part of my work has been published in renowned international journals and book publishers like Elsevier and Foresight. Still, my main focus is applying groundbreaking AI technologies to help businesses excel and achieve their goals!
My latest venture, FutureUP, embodies my vision and years of expertise, merging Pricing and AI technologies to empower enterprises to optimize pricing and achieve their sales & profitability goals effortlessly.
Thinkers360: What are your current responsibilities and what is your typical day like?
GB: As the founder and CEO of FutureUP, my responsibilities include overseeing the strategic direction of the company, managing product development, and fostering relationships with clients and partners.
A typical day involves a mix of strategic planning, meetings & calls, reviewing progress on AI initiatives, and engaging with clients or prospects to understand their needs and how our solutions can best serve them.
Additionally, I spend time on thought leadership initiatives such as industry events, social media activities, and engagements with experts in AI and Pricing.
I also frequently mentor startups, helping them unlock their full potential, discover their niche, and thrive in the market.
Thinkers360: What is the favorite part of your current role?
GB: My favorite part is seeing the tangible impact of our AI solutions on our clients’ businesses. It’s incredibly rewarding to witness how our technologies can transform pricing strategies, enhance sales targets, and ultimately drive business success.
I also enjoy mentoring upcoming entrepreneurs and sharing my knowledge to help them navigate their own paths in AI and business.
Thinkers360: How do you like to work with brands who wish to engage you as a thought leader?
GB: In the B2B environment where I mainly operate, thought leadership is critical. You’ll buy and learn from someone or a company you trust, and a thought leader is, by definition, trusted in specific areas of expertise!
So, when working with brands, I focus on establishing a collaborative relationship to leverage each other’s strengths to achieve common goals. I prefer to engage in projects that align with my expertise and where I can provide thought leadership and significant value but also learn from other thought leaders in the same or other areas.

Additionally, focus on building a strong network and engaging with a community of experts. Share your knowledge openly and seek feedback to refine your ideas. Finally, be resilient and adaptable, as the path to thought leadership involves navigating challenges and embracing opportunities for growth and innovation.
