A momentous celebration, but the real opportunity starts now.
June 04, 2019

Inclusive diversity & parity and changing the narrative in 2019 And the reason why goes to.....!
March 24, 2019
CONGRATULATIONS to @Goldman Sachs for the demonstrated commitment to ending the gender inequity in their company and the contribution it delivers to the economy. I and many professionals in the world applaud you. The article and commitment below however, doesn't infer perfection, or discuss any of the other systemic changes that Goldman Sachs are/are not making now or into the future. What it does shout out is that this Company has taken a positive step that recognises the FACT that if women, of all colour and creed, do not achieve their full economic potential the global economy, including the 50% of it that are male will suffer the consequences.

We live in a wonderful time when the world around us in which we live, love, work and play changes every minute. What excites me the most is the fact that I am fortunate enough to be in the mix as a thought leader and change maker. I actively participate in furthering development and social impact through challenging the norms and placing education at the intersection of business improvement and advancing the profound impact of frontier technologies such as blockchain, AI and VR/AR. However, one of the most incredible outcomes of this environment is simply the conversation initiated about change and the need for cohesive ecosystems and collaboration.

Digital Ledger Technology: Initiating a positive conversation about change.
February 19, 2019
This #NewYorkTimes article is yet another in a long line to ignite scepticism, mislead the mainstream economy and demonstrate the critical need for mass high quality and consistent education about frontier technology that includes distributed ledger technology. Perhaps the writer needed to be at #LondonBlockchainWeek2019 and listen to the loud and clear positive message and future, inclusive of frontier technologies, education and adoption by the economy, particularly for massive social impact. It is at these events where the real conversation is being ignited by the advocates for technology and social change.

Where's innovation?
October 24, 2018
The 2017-18 ASQA Annual Report is no revelation. The entity although called the Australian Skills Quality Authority is focused on regulation and audit management, not quality. It also has no capacity to mange or promote quality and innovation in education. Moreover, who audits and manages ASQA and manages the complaints about their own compliance failures?

Who'll lead the change required in eldercare and the ageing sector now?
September 16, 2018
I should be feeling ‘at last’ about today’s announcement for a Royal Commission into Aged Care. I’m not. That todays announcement of a Royal Commission into ‘aged care’ has been delineated by ‘residential care facilities, including those that house young people with disability’ shows the total lack of genuine knowledge by the government. Don’t get me wrong, a Royal Commission is a sure way to highlight the worst case scenarios, and hopefully action punitive outcomes for those who’ve broken the law, but like the banking and financial sector Royal Commission they leave the end consumer falling way short of justice, answers and resolve. I want to know who's going to lead the change required without waiting to hear again what we already know?

Let's do something about the herd of elephants!
October 28, 2017
This week, you might have missed it with the political upheaval in Canberra, but it was the Productivity Commission's: Shifting the Dial Report. A retrospective cumulative assessment about the last 5 years of Australia's broad productivity, and what, as a result the Commission recommend should happen or be done.

Call to Action
July 08, 2017
The CSIRO [Tomorrows Digitally Enabled Workforce 2016] and The World Economic Forum describes our current moment in time as the beginning of the 4th Industrial Revolution and that 65% of children entering primary school today will ultimately end up working in completely new job types that don’t yet exist!

Future opportunity all rests with lean and agile.
July 02, 2017
The current economic debate regarding the 4th Industrial Revolution, described by the World Economic Forum in their Future of Jobs Report 2016 [link below], suggests that there are two polarized views between those who foresee limitless new opportunities and those that foresee massive dislocation of jobs.

As the new financial year commences, the Australian economy, global affiliates and the VET Sector should be seeking an immediate solution to the systemic failure and moribundly slow response of the primary VET Regulator ASQA to events making news this week.

Today the world of vocational education, business engagement and strategic transformation is in a position, poised to be able to take the most positive step towards implementing disruptive change that integrates solutions for the key challenges facing stakeholders. This a wonderful opportunity to paint a new landscape, not to ponder the demise of the past and allow the cancer to keep growing.

Future of Australia's aged care sector workforce
June 22, 2017
In case you missed it, the Senate Community Affairs References Committee released its Report into the Future of Australia's aged care workforce. It has only taken a mere 18 months. Sadly, the 19 Recommendations, like all other reports before this, are likely to never to be actioned, or of they are, will take so long that the very workers will be in end of life stage! Moreover, there is nothing new in this Report. There is nothing we don't already know.
