CONGRATULATIONS to @Goldman Sachs for the demonstrated commitment to ending the gender inequity in their company and the contribution it delivers to the economy. I and many professionals in the world applaud you. The article and commitment below however, doesn't infer perfection, or discuss any of the other systemic changes that Goldman Sachs are/are not making now or into the future. What it does shout out is that this Company has taken a positive step that recognises the FACT that if women, of all colour and creed, do not achieve their full economic potential the global economy, including the 50% of it that are male will suffer the consequences.

Perhaps the writer needed to be at #LondonBlockchainWeek2019 and listen to the loud and clear positive message and future, inclusive of frontier technologies, education and adoption by the economy, particularly for massive social impact. The 2017-18 ASQA Annual Report is no revelation. The entity although called the Australian Skills Quality Authority is focused on regulation and audit management, not quality. It also has no capacity to mange or promote quality and innovation in education. Moreover, who audits and manages ASQA and manages the complaints about their own compliance failures?

I should be feeling ‘at last’ about today’s announcement for a Royal Commission into Aged Care. I’m not. That todays announcement of a Royal Commission into ‘aged care’ has been delineated by ‘residential care facilities, including those that house young people with disability’ shows the total lack of genuine knowledge by the government. Don’t get me wrong, a Royal Commission is a sure way to highlight the worst case scenarios, and hopefully action punitive outcomes for those who’ve broken the law, but like the banking and financial sector Royal Commission they leave the end consumer falling way short of justice, answers and resolve. I want to know who's going to lead the change required without waiting to hear again what we already know?

In case you missed it, the Senate Community Affairs References Committee released its Report into the Future of Australia's aged care workforce. It has only taken a mere 18 months. Sadly, the 19 Recommendations, like all other reports before this, are likely to never to be actioned, or of they are, will take so long that the very workers will be in end of life stage! Moreover, there is nothing new in this Report. There is nothing we don't already know.

This is not just a book about blockchain, it is a block of the blockchain. Its entire contents have been converted to a hash which is printed on the back cover. De facto demonstrating how blockchain can be used in book publishing to protect intellectual property and create immutable records.

As far as could be verified, this is a world first. No evidence has come to light of any book hashed and put on the blockchain by any publishing house in history.
