Edge Computing Driven Transformation of Data, Management, and Applications
NetEvents
October 04, 2019
Edge computing is poised to fundamentally transform everything from application management to data processing. An entire new ecosystem will emerge in which edge computing enabled applications will be provisioned and administered. In terms of data management, the emerging ecosystem will involve management of local, real-time data as well as post-processing in centralized core cloud infrastructure. This multi-cloud environment will add complexity to overall infrastructure management, but at the same time will also provide the basis for much more flexible services creation and operation.
