Nick Pozek is a strategic advisor, futurist and humanitarian with over a decade of experience leading ambitious projects and cross-disciplinary teams. Nick has pioneered new models for engaging global communities, developed strategic cross-sector partnerships, and championed innovation in a variety of organizations.

In his role as Assistant Director, Asian Legal Programs at Columbia Law School, Nick conceptualizes and organizes conferences, symposia, lecture series, research projects, and events about Asia-Pacific regional studies, international law, and globalization. He serves jointly as Assistant Director for the Center on Chinese Legal Studies and the Center for Japanese Legal Studies. He currently serves on the Committee for Intellectual Property of the College Art Association and the Board of Trustees of Global Community Charter School.

Responses to provocative works can come as demands for censorship and escalate into threats or acts of violence. Negotiation for Museum Professionals

The MANY Annual Conference is the largest gathering of New York museum staff, board members, and consultants. Nick presented a seminar introducing museum professionals to fundamental negotiation concepts and tools for developing deals that maximize value for both parties. During this 75-minute session, participants explored ways to structure the bargaining process, learned how to identify both their and their counterpart’s interests, and developed the ability to recognize (and counteract) the most common manipulative tactics used by aggressive negotiators.
