Marketing to Employees... The new HR prerogative?

As appearing in countless studies, the relationship between employer and employees is changing. Especially, in the context of large organizations, retaining talent is becoming a challenge. Employee loyalty is decreasing, with newcomers on the job market having different expectations than spending their work life within a single organization. Furthermore, the rapid development of remote work, decreases the impact of on-site events and discussions. Employees are quickly becoming a new kind of (internal) customer. and organizations will have to change their approach to employee engagement if they want to retain best talent. This is, in essence, the consumerization of employment.
