Navigating the traffic

I travel a lot for business. My role takes me across Asia, from Japan, through Australia and New Zealand, South East Asia and to India. I love the challenge of adapting to new environments and different cultures and I am learning an enormous amount about doing business in a new way, navigating the plethora of communication styles, but most importantly I am learning a lot about me.

The Power of a Diverse Team

I look back at this picture often. It wasn't the most highly successful period of my career, nor was it the easiest or even the most exciting. But it was, very definitively, the moment when I realised what a privilege it was, and how powerful it could be to be part of a group that brought a seriously diverse set of opinions, experiences, ideas, motivations, and above all, passions to the table.
