As you already know, I don‘t like to look backwards. I acknowledge what I’ve learned from the past but focus on improving in the future. This being said – the year 2020 taught us a lot in many ways. One of the key learnings, for me personally, is that we must improve the urban spaces we live in. We must revolutionize buildings, mobility, and the way we communicate to make sure we can stay connected even if we can’t visit each other. We are also obliged to make sure we live in a sustainable way that does not harm our surroundings, because we must save this planet for the sake of our children (and their children).

Es gibt mehr Security-by-Design-Projekte als je zuvor, so Kai Grunwitz, Senior Vice President EMEA bei NTT Security, nicht zuletzt seit der Einführung der Datenschutz-Grundverordnung (DSGVO). So habe die DSGVO durchaus positiven Einfluss auf Digitalisierungsprojekte, erklärt Grunwitz. Allerdings sei es gefährlich Cloud Security und Cybersecurity nicht als Bestandteil einer umfassenden Sicherheitsstrategie zu betrachten. Hier lauere die Gefahr von Inselbildung und Schatten-IT.
