It Is Hard: Choose Your Hard - Javnyuy Joybert

Mar

I was talking with someone and she said “I wish my life was as easy as yours.” I laughed so hard and said “I wish you could have a little peek of what I go through.”

In our journey through life, it's common for people to perceive their own struggles as hard while assuming others have it easy.

However, let me address a common misconception – there is no inherently hard or easy life; there are only decisions.

Consider this:

It's hard to stay in shape. It's also hard to see your body look terrible.

It's hard to live a life of purpose. It's also hard to live without purpose.

It's hard to acquire new knowledge. It's also hard to remain stagnant and miss out on growth.

It's hard to start a business. It's also hard to regret never taking that entrepreneurial leap.

It's hard to save and invest wisely. It's also hard to face financial instability in the future.

It's hard to work on self-improvement. It's also hard to remain unchanged and unfulfilled.

It's hard to step out of your comfort zone and explore the world. It's also hard to miss out on incredible experiences and cultures.

The key takeaway is this: life's challenges will always be part of us, and we have the power to choose which hardships we embrace.

By making conscious decisions, we shape our paths and determine the nature of the difficulties we face.

So, choose wisely, for in the choice of your hardships lies the essence of your journey.

I have chosen my hard. Have you chosen yours?

Cheers
