I support Gender Inclusive Language and will use in #MyWombStory – Well done Brighton and Sussex Hospitals
Blooming Wonderful Wombs
February 18, 2021
Having just got the ‘womb’ word onto LinkedIn by sharing #mywombstory, I was concerned when I heard the recent #chestfeeding news. If you hadn’t heard, Brighton & Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust (BSUH) have recently updated their Gender Inclusive Language in Perinatal Services mission statement and guidelines.
Having worked so hard to campaign to save lives through #wombawareness, I was concerned that the word ‘womb’ would soon disappear; had political correctness finally gone too far? News reports were saying that midwives had ‘been told’ to use new transgender language.

When did they start using chemicals for farming?
Blooming Wonderful Wombs
February 12, 2021
As you may know from watching my vlogs, I reversed oestrogen damage to my womb in just three months by reducing xenoestrogens consumption from the inside out. Xenoestrogens / endocrine disruptors cause havoc in our bodies, but unfortunately they are everywhere – normally man-made from furniture to fashion to farmed food. Even natural resources can be endocrine disruptors – like titanium dioxide and cadmium; both of which are found deep within the earth’s crust – maybe they should be left there!

2020 vision or invincible blindness?
LinkedIn
December 17, 2020
Only two weeks of 2020 left and a time for reflection; what else can possibly happen? A few months ago, I asked a client what he would he have done differently if he had known about Covid-19 in advance. He laughed and shared that we have all known about climate change for years, but what have we done to prepare for it? He has a point.

Yay – the endometrial thickening shrank by half after three months of diet change and no xenoestrogens
Blooming Wombs
October 20, 2020
Yesterday (Monday 19th October 2020): I have just returned from Worthing Hospital having had a repeat biopsy feeling happy and relieved. The scans today showed that my endometrial thickening had reduced by almost half – from 6.34mm to 3.57mm within three months. The evidence was staring my consultant right in the face and he was stunned beyond disbelief! I know you should never say, “I told you so”, but all the way along, I knew I was doing the right thing.

There are three reasons why I relaunched Talent Within You
LinkedIn
December 14, 2018
Reason one ... I didn’t discover my talent until I was in my 20s. Up until then, I drifted through life, miserable and bored. Everything was boring. The summer and winter holidays dragged and seemed like a lifetime. I was a follower not a leader; I followed my friends around like a little lost sheep. I felt like I never fitted in. I always seemed to be in trouble.

The Brand Surgery®
February 17, 2021
I am a Chartered Marketer and a CPD Accredited Executive Coach educated to Masters-level in both. My business, The Brand Surgery, is in it’s 18th year of trading. I work with the UK's leading organisations, having helped one manufacturer to grow from £30m-£60m in 2013.
My passion is helping leaders to excel and create effective strategies within their executive roles. My strength is identifying the gap between where clients are now to achieving their vision and helping them to align their personal and corporate brands to achieve authentic brand leadership.
Words clients have used to describe my delivery of Executive Coaching sessions:
• Another excellent positive and helpful session. The coach worked me harder and demanded a more focused action plan which I will need to work hard to achieve
• Always positive and insightful
• A very useful and constructive session, full of excellent ideas and framework for me to build upon
• A useful session with positive ideas
• Good session which challenged me
• Thanks, a very useful meeting
• My sessions have been very beneficial. Discussing work issues outside of the work has allowed me to see a clear way forward
• A good analysis of the overall problem, quite right to point out lack of goals achieved
• A good session, very positive and worthwhile
• Very motivated about goals but worried about having the time to achieve
• Good structured, has brought out some relevant points.
• The sessions have been very helpful in allowing me to take time to reflect and I have a plan of action for the two issues that I perceive to be wicked
• Very beneficial, the proof will be in the pudding

Blooming Wonderful Wombs
Blooming Wombs
June 20, 2020
In June 2020, my life changed after receiving a scary biopsy result. My consultant recommended a course of synthetic progestin, however, I couldn't help thinking that this was treating a symptom rather than getting to the cause of the problem. Therefore, I declined medical intervention and instead, put my marketing skills to use and researched how I could reverse the endometrial damage. I discovered that we are all exposed to thousands of endocrine disruptors (Xenoestrogens) every day which are killing us

Vicky Vaughan from The Brand Surgery appears in Leaders Council podcast alongside Lord Blunkett.
The Leaders Council
July 06, 2021
The Leaders Council of Great Britain and Northern Ireland is currently in the process of talking to leadership figures from across the nation in an attempt to understand this universal trait and what it means in Britain and Northern Ireland today.
Vicky Vaughan from The Brand Surgery was invited onto an episode of the podcast, which also included an interview with Lord Blunkett. Host Matthew O'Neill asked both guests a series of questions about leadership and the role it has played in their careers to date.
Matthew O'Neill commented, ‘Hosting a show like this, where you speak to genuine leaders who have been there and done it, either on a national stage or within a crucial industry sector, is an absolute honour.’
Vicky said: "I totally spoke from the heart and feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. Pre-pandemic, my business, which is nearly 20 years old, was growing by a healthy 10% increase year-on-year. However, over the past year, income had shrunk to a fifth of previous figures. No matter how important it is for businesses to keep marketing in a recession, marketing is the first budget to be cut. As an empath, who sometimes struggles with low self-esteem, the lack of business made me feel worthless, and of little value. This of course made me feel like a fraud because how can I lead by example when I feel worthless? Having also weathered the 2008 recession, I considered a career change; how luxurious it would feel to be part of something which grows in a recession. Having said this, is now the right time for me or anyone to consider a career change when they are temporarily driven by doom and gloom? I also share how fear has caused me to temporarily lose my vision and what I'm doing to get it back."
Lord Blunkett, chairman of The Leaders Council of Great Britain and Northern Ireland said, ‘I think the most informative element of each episode is the first part, where Matthew O'Neill is able to sit down with someone who really gets how their industry works and knows how to make their organisation tick. Someone who’s there day in day out working hard and inspiring others. That’s what leadership is all about.’

Endometrial cancer: Patient reduced her thickened endometrial lining naturally
Reach Plc
March 22, 2021
I wrote a press release to share my journey to health after I was diagnosed with an endometrial thickening. I turned down medical intervention and instead stopped eating meat, went organic, used organic progesterine cream, took brocolli supplements, filtered my water and more. The repeat biopsy just three months later showed I had reversed the estrogen damage. My aim is to get #wombsintheworkplace - and reach out to as many menopausal ladies as possible. Chanel Georgina from Express Newspapers was interested in my story and gave it national coverage in March.

Putting the LIght in Leadership
The Worthing Herald
October 28, 2021
Putting the LIGHT into Leadership. The talk was designed around the word LIGHT, used as an acronym, which helped to guide us in decision making to boost our perrsonal and business branding.
I apologise that our introducer, the lovely Jackie, was not caught on camera and instead you have two empty chairs.
L = Light Leadership –
• What this means to Sister Jayanti and me. Also explained by Steve Jeffries from Lady of Sion school, who is disrupting head teaching in a good way. Steve’s students have also had the good fortune to experience BK life. We’ll shortly share a video of Steve’s experience.
I = Inspiration – What inspired Sister Jayanti and me. How does she stay inspired? Inspirational stories.
G = Genuine / Authentic – What this means to Sister Jayanti and me! Being truthful in my decision making so I can remain genuine and authentic in all my dealings. Making an effort to remain consistently truthful. Avoiding egos and political games and being a people pleaser, not scared to be disliked by making the right decisions rather than facing others.
H = Harmony - What this means to Sister Jayanti and me. Aligning vision, mission and values:What does this mean to Sister Jayanti and me. It’s easy to live by values when it’s all going well, but when it’s getting stressful, it’s not so easy then. I’m infamous for shooting off scary emails when I’m upset! Since I’ve been coming here, I don’t react so quickly if something rattles my cage. I take more responsibility and adjust myself rather than try to change others. Sometimes it’s hard to find out what our true values are, but if we think what really annoys us, then that’s a case of cognitive dissonance. Something is misaligning with our inner values. We should listen to that feeling – how is it making us feel?
T = Thankful. What does this mean to Sister Jayanti and me. Being grateful makes me feel lighter even after a tough day. No matter how tough it’s been, when I am thankful for gifts like being taught to swim, cook and design and discovering BK, the bad stuff slips away from my thoughts – waste thoughts.

My Time At Worthing Speakers
Worthing Speakers Club
April 04, 2021
I was a Toastmasters member between 2015 and 2019. Before Toastmasters, I did a certain amount of public speaking at networking groups, the local chamber of commerce and I also ran some training workshops. I was often complimented on my public speaking delivery but I didn’t enjoy it; on the inside, I felt anxious for days before speaking and I always questioned my delivery for weeks afterwards. I had met Meg, the founder of Worthing Speakers Club, on a number of occasions since 2005 at networking events and she invited me along to Toastmasters, but the phrase ‘public speaking’ scared me senseless, so I politely declined.
