Large Language Models (LLMs) for Financial Sentiment Analysis and Market Forecasting
Springer
November 04, 2025
Financial markets are always volatile and do not depend on a single macro-economic indicator or economic data but on a whole range of factors, primarily events related to government, geopolitical issues, or corporate earnings, as well as investor sentiment. Unlike traditional quantitative models like time series and econometric models, financial text data is very complex, and most of these models are not suitable for capturing such complexities. Large Language Mod- els (LLMs) are a game changer that has brought forth the effective use of NLP techniques to extract meaning from financial news, earnings reports, and social media sentiments. In this study, we test the efficacy of LLMs (Llama3, Gemma2, RoBERTa) in performing financial segment evaluation and financial market prediction. To improve sentiment classification accuracy, the structured methodology employed consists of data preprocessing, tokenization, and fine- tuning using QLoRA. According to experimental results, Llama3 performs better than other models, achieving an accuracy of 86.1%, RoBERTa attains 85.9%, and Gemma2 gets 84.4%. The study demonstrates that LLMs can effectively capture the sentiment-based market movements however, the challenge lies in the interpretability of the model, removal of the model bias, and performing inference in real time. The study findings further indicate that LLMs look very promising to use in financial forecasting, outperforming conventional models on predicting financial outcomes.

Creativity and Innovation with Artificial General Intelligence: Designing Systems that Generate Novel Ideas
IEEE
November 04, 2025
The combination of creativity and innovation is something that has always seemed to be stamped exclusively for humans — until recently, with the advances in Artificial General Intelligence (AGI). In this paper, a novel hybrid AI model involving combining Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) and Efficient- NetB3 for increasing machine-driven creativity is presented. The model generates diverse artistic samples using GAN-based data augmentation, and can still per- form accurate classification of artistic styles using EfficientNetB3. The approach was trained on the WikiArt dataset of 80,020 painted digitizations over 27 artistic styles. The performance of the hybrid model is experimentally shown to achieve a classification accuracy of 92.85% and exceeds the performance of existing AI- driven creative systems. The work presented in this research suggests that AI may be used to generate original artistic ideas, and it is joined by the larger discursive project surrounding AGI and creativity. Future work includes applying machine-generated creativity to other domains such as music, literature, and design, as well as assessing the novelty of machine-generated creativity.

IEEE
August 12, 2025
With increasing scale, complexity, and dynamic nature of threats in the cloud, robust security is emerging as a major concern as more and more companies are moving to cloud infrastructures. These dynamic issues cannot be solved properly by traditional security solutions, thus artificial intelligence-based anomaly detection and automated response are required. Massive volumes of data are screened by AI-based models to detect malware, DDoS attacks, unauthorized access, and newly found vulnerabilities, thus initiating automated responses to reduce potential risk. Supervised learning can identify known threats, while unsupervised learning detects new attack patterns, providing proactive security adjustment. In addition, self-healing security systems, based on reinforcement learning, adapt their detection in real time by modeling attack cases and dynamically adjusting security practices. Data quality, AI interpretability, and adversarial threats are, however, challenges that need to be overcome to ensure robust deployment. Hybrid AI-human teams are needed to ensure context-aware decision-making in security processes. Case studies in the real world confirm the effectiveness of AI-based security products in minimizing response times to incidents, enhancing risk analysis, and enhancing cloud security resilience. The study emphasizes that AI adoption in cloud security is not only a good idea but a necessity in order to counter more advanced cyber-attacks.

Exploring the Role of Hash Functions in Securing Smart Contracts on Blockchain
IEEE
July 03, 2025
A smart contract is the code that controls such digital assets and runs them on a blockchain network. It is used to try and default contract terms, remove intermediaries within the network, and ensure a trustless environment with more efficiency. However, smart contracts are of great concern as they handle sensitive and valuable assets. Smart contracts & Bloom hash function: An essential element in blockchain technology with smart contracts enabling safety and security through Bloom hash functions. With the help of hash functions, every data block generates a specific cryptographic hash, making it almost immutable and ensuring that nobody can tamper with your information. In the realm of smart contracts, hash functions can be used to generate a digital signature of the contract code, and then all parties involved can verify that by doing dust authentication. Since tampering with the code changes its hash, each side could easily detect if someone had altered a document. You may use hash functions with other security layers (e.g. multi-factor authentication, encryption) to set up a strong protection for your smart contracts. While smart contracts stay true to the core principles of immutability and transparency in order, using hash functions can further strengthen security against potential threats.

International Journal of Enhanced Research In Science Technology & Engineering
May 20, 2025
Financial systems today are more susceptible to advanced cyber attacks, which call for the use of advanced and
proactive threat detection systems beyond conventional rule-based or anomaly-driven frameworks. Current
methods are prone to problems like high false positive rates, shallow contextual understanding, and sluggish
reaction times, which can lead to financial losses, reputations, and non-compliance with regulatory
requirements. While some work has been conducted on the application of machine learning and natural
language processing for security analysis, these efforts are mostly in silos and lack a coherent framework that
dynamically responds to new threat intelligence. To address this gap in research, this work presents SHIELDRAG (Security-Hardened, Integrated, Explainable, and Learning-Driven Retrieval-Augmented Generation), a
new generative AI system specifically tailored for proactive threat detection in financial environments. As the
opposite of conventional detection systems, SHIELD-RAG combines the strengths of Retrieval-Augmented
Generation (RAG) with domain-aware embeddings and an ever-evolving security knowledge base, enabling
real-time threat prediction, contextual alerting, and remediation insights. Through retrieval of pertinent threat
intelligence information and generation of explainable narratives on suspicious patterns, the model enhances
situational awareness and provides analysts with greater accuracy and timeliness in decision-making abilities.
The proposed methodology not only addresses the critical challenge of explainability in AI-based threat
detection but also bridges the gap between static monitoring as well as adaptive learning. Initial simulations and
dataset testing demonstrate dramatic improvement in detection accuracy, interpretability, and response times
over current benchmarks. This work positions SHIELD-RAG as a paradigm-shifting financial cybersecurity
innovation with implications for broader applications to regulated industries requiring real-time, reliable, and
intelligent threat reaction systems
