I am luxury thought leader, retail expert, philanthropist, author, speaker & an MGSCC, certified leadership coach. In my efforts to promote and educate the nation about luxury brands & lifestyle, I founded Luxury Connect LLP, Luxury Connect Business School (LCBS - India's first and only Luxury Business School.) & Luxury Cruxx.

Awarded as the 'Luxury retail icon of the year 2012' by Asia retail congress, I have won several recognition across India, SEA, and GCC regions. I have also been on the panel of jury members for 'Luxury Lifestyle Awards, Asia and GCC'. An acknowledged leader of the Indian Luxury domain, Black Book has listed me in ‘The Top 100 of Luxury’ for six consecutive years of 2013 to 2018. My recent book 'The Incredible Indian Luxury Bazaar' has been widely hailed as a one stop solution for all things complex in the mystical Indian Luxury paradox.

With over two decades’ experience of working with luxury & retail brands, I have been credited to have continually delivered sustainable revenue growth in the luxury, retail, apparel manufacturing, and brand launch initiatives amongst other industry-changing functions. A pioneering veteran of the formative years of the liberalized retail economy, I assisted the entry of super lux brands into the country. Key brands handled include top names like Versace ; Corneliani ; Lacoste ; Cadini ; John Smedley ; Damat ; tween among others. In addition, novel private label concepts like 'Bench & bar' clothing for the legal professional & 'Su Misura' - clothing for all shapes and sizes were successfully launched and made profitable.

I am also the President of Center for Education Growth & Research, Delhi NCR Chapter and an advisor to – ‘Promising Indians’, Behind The Ramp, Regalia Luxury & Mode street Fashions.

My research papers have been published in 'Essence of Luxury' version I & II, published by SMU-LVMH, Singapore. I also conduct classes on Luxury Marketing, Communications, Consumer Behavior and Luxury foundations to masters students at LCBS and other B schools.

India, the world’s fastest growing economy, the fastest growing population, & the fastest growing country for people with $100 million in wealth is witnessing a surge in conspicuous consumption. It's not just tycoons, but a new class of wealthy entrepreneurs, executives and dealmakers that are muscling into India’s luxury market. Post covid, besides just the usual drivers of revenge shopping, restricted travels and a fear phobia linked with crowded destinations, strict capital controls dictated by the Modi government forced the elite to splurge on luxury within the country.
