Disruption in the education sector/industry is unquestionably prominent ever since the millennium kicked in, but it sure has gathered much speed in the last decade which is totally changing the ‘what’ and ‘how’ our gen-next students will learn. On top of the growth ladder in EdTech vertical is the Asia-Pacific region, and reports state that it would take up 54% of the global EdTech market share by 2020. This is pretty much a no brainer as this region enrolls the biggest student numbers in the K-12 segment, 600 million students to be precise. Asian parents value education for their kids at a high premium thus the cultural influence becomes the second biggest driver of growth in this part of the globe.
