I help organisations in Bangladesh and South Asia adopt AI safely and profitably. My lens is unusual: nearly 30 years building and governing regulated infrastructure — as the first Bangladeshi Board member of edotco Bangladesh (Axiata’s tower company), where I helped secure the national Tower Sharing Licence; as delivery owner at Ericsson for a 3,400-site managed services contract; and as Country Managing Director of a US fintech. I have spent my career turning regulation into operating discipline. Today, through Mahdiya Consulting Services, I apply that same discipline to AI: readiness assessments, governance aligned with ISO/IEC 42001, and practical roadmaps for boards and executives — with a focus on BPO, telecom, fintech and energy.
