Earlier today, I saw a live video where someone was presenting leadership, business and personal development books they love and recommend. As the video progressed, I became aware that every one of the 25 books was authored by a man, except one written by a non-white male author.
Have you been reflecting on the current situation and its challenges? Have you been wondering how to extract some meaning from everything going on, and create a more positive approach towards life?
I personally believe there is meaning in suffering and that we always have a choice how we respond to everything that happens, and every situation in which we find ourselves.

The surprising thing about all the emails was that nearly all of them contained the words “impasse” or “crossroads”. I’m humbled to know that the impetus for working with me is when someone feels they are at an impasse or crossroads. There’s never a bad time to focus on your thought leadership strategy, but apparently there is a good time to do it!

Travel is great, if you like travelling. Which, fortunately, I do. However, I’ve been thinking about that age-old saying “Life is a journey, not a destination.” I’m thinking it could possibly be both.

My first thought was “This is wrong, it's too early” but then I imagined the flowers asking “Is it time yet?” as they waited for the good weather so they could poke their little heads out. If you know me, you’ll know I rarely miss an opportunity to use my imagination, or a chance to make an analogy to modern life and business.

Yes, there is an I in ‘team’ and this could be a game changer for your business.
How many times have you heard the cliché “There’s no 'I' in ‘team’”? To me, this means we should put the team first, get everyone singing off the same hymn sheet, and shut down selfish or self-serving behavior. A cohesive team is essential and businesses rely on everyone pulling together in the same direction.

You must ACHIEVE these four things, otherwise, it's unlikely you'll be a thought leader:
(R)each, (E)ngagement, (A)uthority, and (L)ongevity
Unless you push and push and push yourself and challenge yourself and keep yourself to a VERY HIGH STANDARD, you're not going to get to that real gem of an idea.
An article or a blog is not thought leadership unless it's truly INTERESTING, EXCITING, DIFFERENT, ORIGINAL, DISRUPTIVE and you know, making heads turn.
