Dr. Jeff Daniels added to Dallas 500 Leaders

Dr. Jeff Daniels, director of Business Transformation and Systems Modernization at Lockheed Martin has been named to the D CEO’s prestigious “Dallas 500” list, an annual ranking of the most influential business leaders in Dallas-Fort Worth.

Dallas 500 celebrates the most influential leaders in North Texas, across a wide spectrum of industries. Unprecedented in scope, the publication represents months of research, interviews, and conversations with extensive, high-level contacts in the regional business community. D CEO editors leverage extensive contacts in local business circles, as well as conducting hundreds of interviews and performing months of research to compile the list. Dallas 500 goes far beyond corporate biographies to reveal the personal side of leaders who are driving the North Texas economy and helping make it such a vibrant place to work and live.

“The Dallas-Fort Worth area has some of the most influential, creative and innovative leaders in the world. Together with other leaders, I am excited to improve our community and continue the tradition of innovation and collaboration in DFW,” Daniels said. “I am humbled to be added to the Dallas 500 as a technology innovator this year, and thank my colleagues for their guidance, coaching and leadership.”

Daniels has over 23 years’ experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry and currently leads Lockheed Martin’s Intelligent Factory, Manufacturing Execution Systems, Product Lifecycle Management and Asset Intelligence digital strategy. This includes integration, services and research on a wide-ranging portfolio of enterprise systems and major programs. Jeff is also a graduate school professor at the University of Maryland Global Campus School of Management and Technology. He holds Doctor of Philosophy from Indiana State University, a master’s degree in Management of Technology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida. Jeff is currently researching the ethical use of Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, Cybersecurity, 5G and Digital Manufacturing.
