An era of rapidly changing technology, virtualisation, SDN/NFV, advent of 4G LTE technology is redefining businesses across the globe. The digitalisation wave has brought artificial intelligence, natural language processing, analytics, and big data into the foray making it more possible for the machines to emulate humans.
This is making most of the ways of doing things exceptionally well in the past invalid in this new environment. At its peak we expect the traditional operations replaced with operations driven by speech recognition, natural language processing, artificial intelligence, analytics and machine learning.
There will be new key roles emerging in facilitating machine learning (helping machines become intelligent) and analytics. Sometimes, I like to all the next bandwagon as “Neuro-Linguistic” programmers, programmers whose role would be to train machines that process natural languages and function as a connected synergised near human neural unit.

TEDX - Neuroscience Inspired AI
TEDx
February 24, 2020
Nikhil Malhotra, a futurist, who, with his heart and mind, is committed to the desire of turning possibilities into realities. He talks about how the field of neuroscience has inspired the next revolution in AI in solving some of the major challenges in the country ... one of them being the way humans communicate to machines using their own dialects . India has 1645 dialects and 23 mother tongues . Can Sanskrit and neuroscience pave the way for a new machine Nikhil Malhotra is the global head of innovation and creator of Maker’s Lab, a unique Thin-q-bator space within TechMahindra with over 20 years of experience. He has been working with TechMahindra for the past 11 years and is now leading the growth of AI and machine learning within the organization. In his present avatar he focuses on artificial intelligence, quantum computing, robotics and mixed reality. Nikhil’s area of personal research has been natural language processing, enabling machines to talk the way humans do. He lives by a dream of creating smart machines that would wed human emotions with artificial intelligence to make lives better. One of his visions is to enable machines to talk in local Indian dialect. He holds a masters degree in computing with specialization in distributed computing from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Melbourne. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community

TEDx : - It is courage that drives innovation
TEDX

Renowned for being an amazing father, Nikhil Malhotra was instrumental in the innovation of the healthcare robot Saarthi. His inputs, along with his little son’s, helped the healthcare robot become a reality which has the potential to help millions, maybe even billions of people all over the world. The initial idea of Saarthi was achieved by Malhotra through the numerous questions asked by his four-year old son, Angad, about what a robot could possibly do in the future. Nikhil Malhotra is the creator of Maker’s Lab, a unique Thin-q-bator space within TechMahindra with over 17 years of experience in a variety of technology domains.
