Mr. Segal is currently the senior executive leader, Vice President of Business Development for PTC Federal, Aerospace and Defense (FA&D) industry vertical. David is leading the strategy, business transformation and industry-based go-to-market operations for PTC innovative technology solutions within A&D domain.
Mr. Segal has 20 years of industry experience in engineering and manufacturing, particularly, in CAD and PLM domain. He was pioneering technology solutions for systems engineering, while working for leading PLM vendors, such as Dassault Systèmes and Siemens PLM.
David is a Subject Matter Expert, called upon to provide A&D industry expertise on special projects and programs for various aerospace and defense companies.
Prior to PTC, Mr. Segal was leading product management and business development operations for IHS Markit engineering business unit, bringing to market cloud-based platform for engineering knowledge management, which is used today by nearly 700k engineers worldwide.
Mr. Segal holds Master degree in Engineering and recently achieved MIT Advanced Certificate for Executives (ACE) in Management, Innovation, and Technology, from MIT Sloan School of Management.
