Industrial engineering and management academic with more than three decades of teaching and institutional experience. Work spans operations research, production and quality management, supply chains, industrial safety, and emerging applications of artificial intelligence. Professional Experience
Associate Professor, Department of Industrial Engineering and Management, BMS College of Engineering, Bengaluru. Served in teaching and academic roles until voluntary retirement on 28 February 2021. Earlier appointments included Lecturer in management cadre roles beginning in 1988.
Additional engagements have included consulting with the National Productivity Council, Advisor for implementation of science and technology, Govt. of India and serving as a resource person for the VTU Entrepreneurship Development Cell.
