In my career, I’ve dedicated significant time and effort to creating reports and implementing reporting tools like Cognos, BOBJ, BIRT, and others. In IT organizations, I was responsible for crafting and maintaining reports used in executive meetings to drive decisions. These reports provided insight and visibility into situations previously unknown, giving certain power in the room. Reporting was, and still is, a powerful tool to uncover and communicate hidden truths.

Think Twice When Integrating your EA Platform with ServiceNow

Many ServiceNow customers try to integrate their Enterprise Architecture tools with ServiceNow. However, most find that the complexity of such an integration increases dramatically as EA practices mature, and the use of ServiceNow expands. Here is how I came to realize that doing so may be unachievable long-term based on my experiences over the past 18 years. I suggest that you should instead take a native, on platform approach.
