Served as the ICT focal point for the Cairo mission, offering comprehensive helpdesk support to more than 150 users across national and regional offices. Efficiently resolved technical issues, coordinated with external vendors for advanced support, and ensured all hardware and software procurement aligned with IOM ICT standards.
Directed and managed network infrastructure upgrades, successfully leading the deployment of an IP telephony system and Avaya Call Center to improve communication across the office and MHAC clinic.
Administered servers, user accounts, backup systems, WAN/LAN networks, and telecommunication infrastructure. Conducted regular system maintenance to ensure uninterrupted service delivery while supporting users across all offices.
Led the end-to-end development and upkeep of web applications and portals, employing modern technologies for data modeling, coding, integration, testing, and debugging. Collaborated with designers, media teams, and program managers to deliver effective digital solutions.
Continuously updated and maintained the architecture, user interface, and components of web portals, ensuring they remained current with technological trends and met evolving organizational needs.
Key Achievements:
Delivered the Migration Information Portal project on schedule, recognized for its intuitive design and enhanced data exchange between IOM and government partners.
Initiated and implemented a reliable backup and disaster recovery system, achieving near-perfect service uptime over a five-year period.
Maintained a host server for over seven years with consistent uptime close to 100%, ensuring stable service availability.
Successfully completed four software development projects on time, fully meeting defined scope and quality criteria.
