Roberto Williams Batista is an internationally recognized Artificial Intelligence executive, Data Scientist, and Industrial IoT innovator with over 25 years of multidisciplinary experience across the United States, Latin America, and Europe. He specializes in designing and deploying enterprise-scale AI systems, including machine learning, natural language processing, and graph-based models, with real-world impact in telecommunications, healthcare, and intelligent infrastructure.
Roberto currently serves as Head of Artificial Intelligence at Alternative Choice Wireless, where he leads the development of production-grade AI platforms, large language model (LLM) integrations, and data-driven automation strategies that enhance operational efficiency and customer experience. He is also the Founder and former CEO of ROBBIoT, a pioneering IoT startup recognized among Brazil’s top emerging technology companies for developing secure, AI-powered wearable systems for industrial safety.
His work includes original contributions to federated learning, AI governance, predictive analytics, and privacy-preserving systems. He has authored and co-authored peer-reviewed research presented at leading IEEE conferences and received international recognition, including a Best Paper Award in Big Data and Analytics.
