With over 25 years in Executive Coaching & Mentoring (MCC, ICF) and leadership development, on a global scale, Avra specializes in working directly with C-suite executives on what drives results: global communication, strategic executive coaching, and mentoring that cuts through complexity.
Whether it's leading across cultures, owning the room, or communicating in moments that define leadership, Avra helps leaders show up with clarity and impact consistently, and guides executive teams to align around purpose, leverage character strengths, and take bold, strategic action.
Prior to founding Life Self Coaching, Avra held leadership positions in the areas of Human Resources Management, Customer Intelligence & Experience, and Marketing Communications. This background enables her to bring a multidimensional perspective to her executive coaching practice and workshops, and truly understand not only how leaders lead, but also how they feel.
In 2018, Avra was selected by the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Global Talent Management to serve a seven-year appointment as a Regional Global Executive & Career Advisor (Contractor). In this role, she supported U.S. Embassy communities across 18 Eastern European countries, delivering tailored advisory services as part of a vetted global team of professionals.
She assisted members of the U.S. Foreign Service community, including senior executives and U.S. direct hires, with a focus on executive professional development, executive advisory services, and global career transition, under the Global Community Liaison Office (GCLO) in Washington, D.C.
Avra holds a Ph.D. in Corporate Communication, with a specialization in Organizational Communication during Mergers & Acquisitions, a Master's in International Management, and a Bachelor's in International Relations.
An accomplished executive L&D leader, she has delivered numerous programs on Executive Coaching, Corporate and Interpersonal Communication, Executive Mentoring, and ICF Mentor Coaching. She is the creator of the R.C.C.E. Framework©, Life Self Coaching Methodology© and co-author of the innovative Face Your Strengths© coaching framework, and a sought-after keynote speaker at conferences and universities worldwide.
Since 1997, she has coached, trained, and mentored more than 10,000 senior executives, collaborating with multinational corporations and NGOs worldwide.
