Most of the stuff out there for getting into AI is created by people who haven't worked in AI.
Compiling lists of links and resources can be helpful, but nothing replaces real stories of people who have navigated the journey of getting into AI firsthand.
We've each:
• Developed the technical and soft skills necessary to get into AI
• Built networks and leveraged LinkedIn and other social platforms to connect with people and jobs
• Hired people into AI jobs and can tell you what each of us has looked for, with tips for resumes and interviews
Over the span of 5 sessions, each with a Q&A hosted John Kraski, you'll be guided through an individual journey into AI, starting from different vantage points:
• Pascal Bornet started in finance
• Cassie Kozyrkov started in neuroscience
• Carly Taylor started as a chemist
• Noelle Russell started as an educator
• Brian Evergreen started as a musician
Then each instructor will share about their experiences hiring into AI roles, with actionable tips for resumes and interviews.

Noelle Russell: AI’s Greatest Strength Is Still People
Regions: Doing More Today
July 14, 2026
Noelle Russell: AI’s Greatest Strength Is Still People
In this blog by Lara Warren, published July 14, 2026, Noelle Russell shares a powerful message from Regions’ HumAIN session: AI is only as valuable as the people who guide, use, and improve it.
Drawing on her experience as founder of the AI Leadership Institute and a former technology leader at Amazon Alexa and Microsoft, Noelle explains how AI can support creativity, productivity, accessibility, and independence. Through personal stories involving her son and father, she demonstrates how accessible technology can improve lives—and how designing for accessibility ultimately benefits everyone.
Noelle also introduces her memorable “baby tiger” analogy, describing AI as a system that can quickly grow in capability and complexity. Leaders must therefore continually monitor it, understand the data it consumes, and guide its development responsibly.
The article emphasizes that successful AI adoption depends on trust, experimentation, employee feedback, and human ingenuity. Noelle encourages people to become active participants in shaping AI—not simply using it to save time, but applying it intentionally to solve problems, eliminate frustrating work, and create new possibilities.
Noelle’s Mindvalley Summit Demo, Build an AI Chatbot in 10 Minutes
Chatbotbuilder.ai
July 28, 2025
Noelle Russell showed how fast a production ready agent comes together with Chatbot Builder AI.
In a focused replay recorded immediately after her Mindvalley session, she rebuilt a multilingual, voice ready customer service bot in about 10 minutes.
The result is a branded assistant that greets visitors with empathy, answers within clear guardrails, and captures interest for follow up.
Think of the Five Ps like building a house. Purpose is the foundation. People are the rooms you design for. Portfolio is the blueprint and materials. Prompts are the finishes that guide behavior. Persistence is the maintenance plan that keeps performance strong over time.
Why Chatbot Builder AI stands out
Speed to value. Sign up, name your bot, load brand context, test in the simulator, deploy.
Brand alignment. Colors, tone, greetings, voice, all configurable.
Guardrails by design. Define what the bot should and should not answer. Stay safe and useful.
Multilingual and voice. Text and speech work out of the box.
Room to scale. Add tools, agents, MCP functions, and data sources as you grow.
Step 1. Choose the platform and name the bot
Noelle uses Chatbot Builder AI. After sign up she names the bot Mindvalley Assist, a customer service agent designed to help visitors with empathy and direct them to the right resources.
Step 2. Set the visual identity
In Settings, she sets the chatbox to Mindvalley purple for brand consistency. A small detail, a big trust signal, and essential across site pages.
Step 3. Build the brain with the Five Ps
P1. Purpose
Define the mission in a clear system prompt. Noelle writes a short purpose statement, then refines it with ChatGPT to be more responsible, empathetic, and on brand.
P2. People
Describe the audience so responses feel tailored. For Mindvalley, the bot supports conscious achievers on a personal growth journey, with a tone that blends compassion, clarity, and momentum.
P3. Portfolio
Give the bot real context. Noelle copies key sections from the Mindvalley site into the profile field, trims menus and clutter, and keeps testimonials, program summaries, and the brand story. Rich, relevant content produces strong answers.
P4. Prompts, desirable and undesirable
Add examples that show good and bad behavior.
Good. Recommend quests, explain value, offer next steps, invite an email or calendar action.
Deflection example. If asked about taxes or politics, reply kindly that this is outside scope, then point to a better source.
Pricing example. Link to the official pricing page rather than guessing.
P5. Persistence
Every conversation can be reviewed. Patterns guide improvements. You can refine prompts, connect tools, and scale outreach based on what real users ask.
Step 4. Test in the simulator
Noelle opens the Bot Simulator, selects the bot, and loads a live preview.
She verifies the welcome message, tests English and Spanish replies, and confirms voice playback. She also probes guardrails by asking off topic questions. The bot deflects politely and stays on brand.
Step 5. Deploy on the site
Copy the generated embed, paste it into the site. The widget appears with the configured color and welcome text, ready to greet visitors around the clock.
What to do next
Watch the replay, then follow the Five Ps to build your first agent.
Load curated site content into Portfolio, not full pages. Trim menus and fluff.
Add guardrails with clear deflections for taxes, politics, trivia, and pricing.
Test in the simulator, including a second language and voice.
Review conversations after launch, refine prompts, add tools, and expand the portfolio.
Build an empathetic, multilingual, voice ready agent in about 10 minutes.
If Noelle Russell, a multi time Microsoft Trustworthy AI MVP and global AI leader, trusts Chatbot Builder AI, shouldn’t you?
Whether you’re launching your first chatbot for a local business or scaling an AI assistant for a global brand, Chatbot Builder AI gives you the speed, flexibility, and ethical guardrails you need to dominate your industry.
The Future Needs All of Us: Noelle Russell on AI, Inclusion, and Empowered Leadership
AVIXA
June 09, 2025
We recently connected with Noelle Russell — founder of the AI Leadership Institute, multi-time TEDx speaker, and author of Scaling Responsible AI — ahead of her keynote at the AVIXA Women’s Breakfast during InfoComm 2025.
This year’s theme, Navigating Challenges, Embracing Triumphs: Empowering Women in Leadership, is perfect for Noelle. As a Latina in tech who built her career at the intersection of voice AI, ethics, and equity, she’s lived the realities that many women in AV know all too well: isolation, doubt, and the pressure to be twice as prepared.
Her message? AI isn’t just for engineers. It’s for everyone who builds, leads, teaches, and solves problems creatively. “Owning the future,” she told us, “means reclaiming our voice in how technology is designed, deployed, and directed.” Whether you’re managing AV installs, leading a team, or mentoring new talent, AI can be a powerful tool for amplifying your impact, not replacing it.
Through her work helping organizations scale ethical AI solutions, Noelle has seen what happens when women lead: more transparency, deeper empathy, and better outcomes. And she’s quick to remind us that leadership in the AI era doesn’t require knowing everything, just the courage to ask better questions and to build with intention.
You help people “own the future” by embracing AI. What does that look like for women and other underrepresented professionals in industries like AV?
Owning the future means reclaiming our voice in how technology is designed, deployed, and directed. For women and other underrepresented professionals in AV and similar industries, it’s about shifting from being passive users of AI to intentional leaders in its application. This looks like:
Learning to lead AI projects, even without coding skills.
Embedding lived experiences into AI design, ensuring the tools we build reflect real-world diversity.
Creating career leverage, where mastery of AI accelerates your leadership path, not blocks it.
Inclusion in AI isn’t just about hiring; it’s about building systems that work for everyone because they were designed by everyone. That’s the future we’re building.
For AV professionals who haven’t traditionally seen themselves as part of the AI conversation, where do you suggest they begin to confidently integrate AI into their work and leadership?
Start with the problems you already know how to solve — just solve them faster with AI.
Identify repetitive tasks in your day-to-day (like scheduling, content management, or email response).
Use tools like Microsoft Copilot or ChatGPT to experiment with automating those tasks.
Then scale your curiosity: join communities like our AI Leadership Institute and attend live learning labs designed for professionals from non-technical backgrounds.
Confidence comes from competence, and competence comes from consistent practice. You don’t need to become an engineer — you need to become a translator between your industry expertise and what AI makes possible.
In your work across industries, have you noticed how organizations with diverse leadership approach AI differently? Either in adoption, ethics, or opportunity?
Absolutely — and the difference is profound.
Organizations with diverse leadership are more likely to:
Ask the hard questions early, especially around bias, impact, and ethical deployment.
Design for edge cases, because the leadership is the edge case.
Prioritize inclusive innovation over quick wins.
They understand that AI is not neutral — it reflects its creators. Diverse teams push for accountable and explainable AI, because they know what happens when systems are built without them in the room.
Your book, Scaling Responsible AI, emphasizes the importance of building AI systems that reflect real human values. What role does representation, especially of women, in leadership play in making that possible?
Representation is not a nice-to-have — it’s foundational to responsible AI.
When women are at the table:
We prioritize transparency, because we’ve lived the consequences of being excluded.
We design with empathy, anticipating needs others might miss.
We push for long-term impact, not just short-term gain.
In Scaling Responsible AI, I make the case that ethical frameworks must be matched by lived experience. Human values aren’t theoretical — they’re taught, tested, and strengthened by those who have had to fight for them. That’s why we need more women leading in AI.
As AI transforms industries, it’s also reshaping leadership itself. What kind of leaders will thrive in this new era, and how can women in AV start preparing now?
AI demands a new kind of leader — one who is:
Curious, not controlling
Collaborative, not command-and-control
Comfortable with ambiguity
These are traits women in AV already embody. To prepare:
Start where you are — explore AI through your existing strengths.
Level up your literacy — even 30 minutes a week can build momentum.
Join ecosystems like the I ️ AI community, where leadership is redefined and reimagined every day.
Leadership in the AI era isn’t about knowing everything — it’s about asking better questions and empowering diverse teams to build the answers.
In addition to authoring your book, your journey also includes establishing the AI Leadership Institute. What personal experiences pushed you to step into that space as a founder and thought leader?
I didn’t start in AI — I stumbled into it as a technologist trying to help more people access information. Joining the Alexa team in 2014 without any AI background taught me two things:
You don’t have to be “ready” — you have to be willing.
Voice matters, literally and figuratively.
As a Latina in tech, I’ve often been the “only” in the room. I created the AI Leadership Institute so others wouldn’t have to be. My mission is to make sure any leader — regardless of background — can confidently guide their team into the future.
Many women in AV and tech describe moments of being underestimated or feeling isolated. What mindset or lesson helped you navigate those moments and kept you moving forward?
The lesson that saved me was this: “They’re not doubting you. They’re doubting what they understand about what’s possible.”
So I made it my job to:
Stay curious instead of bitter.
Document wins, even if no one’s clapping yet.
Invest in community, because isolation is a tool of systems — not a reflection of worth.
You don’t need everyone to believe in you. You need to believe in what you’re building long enough for the right people to catch up.
Leadership can feel like a lonely path, especially when breaking new ground. Who or what helped you stay centered when the path wasn’t clear or easy?
Honestly? The community I didn’t have growing up — I built it.
I stay grounded by surrounding myself with bold women doing meaningful work.
I stay focused by teaching others, because in teaching, I clarify my own purpose.
I stay steady by remembering: This isn’t about me, it’s about who comes next.
Leadership is lonely when you’re trying to be perfect. It’s powerful when you’re just trying to be of service.
The AVIXA Women’s Breakfast brings people together to reflect on shared challenges and celebrate leadership. Why would you say spaces like this are essential in industries like AV?
Because community amplifies courage.
In industries like AV — where visibility and voice are key — women often carry invisible leadership roles: mentoring, emotional labor, advocating behind the scenes. Events like this:
Make that labor visible.
Foster mentorship.
Reignite purpose.
They remind us that we’re not anomalies — we’re a force. We just needed a room to recognize it.
Regardless of gender, what message do you hope people walk away with after hearing you speak at InfoComm 2025?
My message is simple:
AI isn’t just for coders — it’s for creators of culture. And that means you.
If you’ve ever solved a complex problem with too few resources, led with heart, or created something out of nothing — you’re already innovating. AI just gives you a bigger toolbox.
So let’s use it — to build systems that see us, serve us, and shape a future we’re proud of.
Learn more and reserve your spot at the AVIXA Women’s Breakfast here.

This past week I had the opportunity to witness the progression of AI excitement across three separate and distinct pathways.
First, in my time with the executives at the ACHE 2024 Congress on Healthcare Leadership in Chicago, I delivered one of the opening keynotes and shared some of the exciting advancements that are making the lives of healthcare practitioners better and more efficient. As many of these healthcare companies are beginning to experiment with AI solutions, I reminded them that going from the playground to production would not only require new technology, but also a new mindset. During the Q&A I got two great questions, and I wanted to share my answers with you:
Question: What is the most exciting thing you've experienced in healthcare and AI?
Answer: I've seen rapid advancement of the use of AI in the healthcare industry and one of my favorite use cases is the development of personalized medicine and advancing patient-centered care. Imagine a world where we combine what we're learning from companies like 23andMe with predictive analytics to help us craft highly tailored personalized treatment plans. We have more data about our biological and physiological makeup that we can now use to create better treatment options personalized by demographic, and sociographic elements.

This week I'm attending the Microsoft Global MVP Summit. The event provides MVP awardees with an annual opportunity to connect with each other and with Microsoft Product Leadership to talk about the future of technology and developer experience at the company.
While much of what was discussed is still under NDA (non-disclosure), I can share some themes that I found interesting as the race to responsibly use AI at scale continues. I have summarized 5 key messages from my week with like-minded experts and innovators leading product development.
Year of the Agent
2023 was the year of the Chatbot (renewed) and 2024 is the year of the Agent. An Agent is a purpose built, autonomous AI solution that operates within the bounds we give it. Last month, Microsoft announced the public preview of the Assistants API that enables the creation of high-quality copilot/generative experiences inside applications. This is interesting because it's the first of a series of capabilities aimed at giving developers the ability to integrate generative AI into any application more easily. Imagine building an insurance application with this new API, and then being able to offer customers a real-time conversational interface that can call and execute actions autonomously. You could set rules and thresholds that allow certain types of transactions to be facilitated by an agent that can call other agents and APIs and orchestrate an entire workflow with natural language.

Chances are many of the conference attendees are already feeling the influence of AI, but I'm going to be presenting use cases that underscore the innovative ways AI will be changing the world of home building.

From Responsibility to Authority: A Fireside Chat on Leadership
Leadership in digital identity carries a different kind of weight. Decisions made by identity teams — whether internal or external — shape access, trust, inclusion, and risk across entire organizations and user populations. Yet many leaders step into identity-related roles with broad responsibility and limited formal authority, often inheriting systems, assumptions, and constraints they did not design.
In this fireside chat, a senior leader reflects on the transition from hands-on practitioner to decision-maker in roles that touch identity directly. The conversation explores why leadership is especially critical in identity work: how small technical or policy choices can have outsized consequences, how accountability extends beyond organizational boundaries, and how leaders navigate ambiguity when the “right” answer is rarely clear. The discussion focuses on judgment, governance, and the leadership skills that only emerge through experience.

The Real Driver of Innovation Isn’t AI—It’s Inclusion | Noelle Russell | TEDxBoston
Tedx Talks
July 26, 2025
"We talk about AI like it’s a magic wand that will transform everything. But what if the most powerful force for innovation isn’t artificial intelligence—it’s inclusive leadership?
In this visionary TEDxBoston Talk, Noelle Russell, award-winning technologist and AI ethicist, challenges our assumptions about what drives innovation in the AI era. Drawing from her book and personal journey, she uses a powerful metaphor—a “baby tiger”—to explore how unchecked AI can grow into something dangerous without human values guiding it.
Through compelling stories and frontline insights from tech, Noelle reveals how diverse voices, equity-centered design, and inclusive teams aren’t just moral imperatives—they’re strategic requirements. Because when we build AI without everyone in mind, we build systems that harm.
She ends with a call to conscience, quoting Hamilton:
“History has its eyes on you.”
The future is watching. The question is—will we build it together?"

Microsoft’s annual Build developer conference is happening this week in Seattle. No big surprise: All things AI and, specifically, agents, are at the top of the announcement list. Surprise: There was quite a bit of news for those still developing on Windows, too.
In no particular order, here are my top 10 takeaways from Day One of Build:
1. Multi-agent is the new hot. Organizations will soon be able to build multi-agent systems in Copilot Studio, where agents delegate tasks to one another. The agents can be built with the Microsoft 365 Agent Builder, Azure AI Agents Service, and Azure Fabric. The Copilot Studio capability to build multi-agent systems is now in preview.
2. NLWeb is a way to turn websites into agentic apps. Natural Language Web (NLWeb) is a Microsoft-developed project for simplifying the natural language interface for websites. (It’s not clear what, if any, connection that OpenAI has with NLWeb. Other current sponsors of NLWeb include O’Reilly Media, Snowflake, Shopify, Chicago Public Library.) Microsoft says NLWeb was conceived and developed by R.V. Guha, former Google Tech Fellow who recently became a Microsoft CVP and Tech Fellow. Guha is the creator of RSS, RDF and Schema.org.
3. GitHub Copilot is moving from pair programmer to peer programmer. GitHub Coding Agent (“Project Padawan”) is now generally available to all Copilot Enterprise and Copilot Pro+ customers. The agent is best suited to low-to-medium complexity tasks in well-tested codebases and can handle things like adding features and fixing bugs to extending tests, refactoring code, and improving documentation, Microsoft says.
4. Copilot Studio is getting more and more “pro” dev features. As was evident at Ignite last fall, Microsoft increasingly is positioning Copilot Studio, its low-code/no-code development platform, as a tool for professional developers who need more powerful tools to build more complex agents. Microsoft is working on exposing a set of M365 Copilot APIs for developers. (So far, only the retrieval API is available in preview.) Microsoft is working to close the gap between Foundry and Copilot Studio by enabling a Bring Your Own Models from Azure Foundry capability, which is currently in preview.
5. The MCP protocol is becoming increasingly key to building agents. Microsoft has joined the Model Context Protocol (MCP) Steering Committee is integrating MCP support across GitHub, Copilot Studio, Dynamics 365, Azure, Azure AI Foundry, Semantic Kernel, Foundry Agents and Windows 11. “Think of MCP as a universal USB-C connector for AI,” linking apps, agents and tooling in a standardized way.

We acknowledge the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation as the Traditional Custodians of the land we now call Sydney, where #SXSWSydney will take place. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging for their continuing connection with cultural, spiritual and educational practices, and extent this respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Always was, always will be.
Noelle Russell had a different metaphor for AI safety, based on her work on Alexa and elsewhere in the industry, where she saw small models with the capacity to scale, and thought about the eventual outcomes.
“I came to call these little models ‘baby tigers,’” she said. “Because everyone, when you get a new model, you're like, ‘oh my gosh, it's so cute and fluffy, and I love it, and (in the context of model work) I can't wait to be on that team, and it's going to be so fun’. But no one is asking, ‘Hey, look at those paws. How big are you going to be? Or razor-sharp teeth at birth. What are you going to eat? How much are you going to eat? Where are you going to live, and what happens when I don't want you anymore?’ 23andme, we are selling DNA on the open market … You know, my biggest concern is that we don't realize that in the sea of baby tigers and excited enthusiasm we have about technology, that it might not grow up one day and … hurt ourselves, hurt our children, but most importantly, that we actually have the ability to change that.”

“I'm hoping people, first of all, will realize that it's not magic. That at the end of the day, it's a human. And now everyone in this room, regardless of their technical skills, now knows what it's like to build a machine,” she said."
Mastis created a bot called the WJLA Café and was elated when it worked properly. Her bot is multilingual and even admits it’s a bot when asked.
And despite this workshop being part of a conference for AI professionals, many people in the room have never coded.
Shanda Hunt and Irene Levintov said they operate in the AI governance space.
“Zero skills on building. Absolutely zero,” Hunt said.
“I can definitely go back to my kids and say ‘I can do something you can't,’” Levintov said.
Russell said learning AI for yourself demystifies the technology.
“Every job is going to need people with AI skills. So I encourage everyone to go and build a system,” Russell said.
She said you can start at home by taking a picture of your pantry and asking AI to build a menu.

October 20, 2023
Accenture’s Noelle Russell discusses how generative AI can boost Australia's economy by as much as $115 billion annually by 2030.
“One of the best things about it is that it is a new user interface kind of like the phone had a trackpad first then a screen or a drop-down list,” Ms Russell told Sky News Australia.
“Now our user interface for talking to technology is just your voice, just the ability to communicate with human language.”
A recent report from the Tech Council of Australia estimates that generative AI could contribute as much as $115 billion to the Australian economy annually by 2030.
Ms Russell said Accenture conducted a similar study and found generative AI was very good at doing specific tasks.
“Oftentimes people get concerned about AI, about what it will do and how much it will do,” Ms Russell said.
“Many times people refer to like email and PowerPoint creation, these types of tasks take up about 30 to 40 per cent of our day and can be augmented with artificial intelligence allowing us to shift our focus to higher value work.”

What actually separates people who use AI from people who build a real competitive advantage with it?
In this episode of PBS Pulse, host Montino Roberts sits down with Noelle Russell, founder of the AI Leadership Institute and a veteran of IBM, Microsoft, and Amazon Alexa. Noel breaks down artificial intelligence in plain language — no jargon, no hype — and shares the frameworks and stories she uses to help leaders move from passive "vending machine" AI users to confident builders.
We cover what AI really is, whether machines actually "think," the leadership skills that matter more than technical ones, and how any leader can get started today. Along the way, Noel shares deeply personal stories — from using Alexa to give her father independence after a traumatic brain injury, to a two-day hackathon at the Metropolitan Museum of Art that ended up on NBC Nightly News.
In this conversation:
• What AI is, explained for beginners — AI as a new user interface
• The kitchen analogy: machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI
• Does AI actually think? Human thought vs. machine "chain of thought"
• Why moms, caregivers, and pet owners make the best prompt engineers

Why "Doing" is the Only AI Strategy That Matters, with Noelle Russell
AI Readiness Project Podcast
February 26, 2026
"AI readiness in my book is a set of principles, and those principles are pretty simple. One, you are now in a world where you can be a doer, not a talker." — Noelle Russell
As automation strips away the tasks of our jobs, we are entering a Great Repurpose where our value shifts from what we do to who we are. Noelle Russell shows us how to use AI not just as a tool, but as an amplifier for our unique human lived experiences.
The Story
Noelle Russell was there at the start of Alexa, as one of the first ten employees on the Amazon team helping bring it to life. Motivated by a desire to create a kinder world for her son, who was born with Down Syndrome, Noelle has spent 25 years at tech giants like AWS and Microsoft. Today, she runs the AI Leadership Institute, where she champions responsible AI and helps individuals become single-person unicorns by amplifying their work through intelligent agents.
Your Readiness Roadmap
• Audit Your Identity: Decouple your self-worth from your daily tasks; when AI automates the doing, your value lies in your integrity, critical thinking, and empathy.
•Adopt the "Producer First" Rule: Before consuming content (doom-scrolling), commit to producing something that educates, informs, or entertains.
• Build Your Flywheel: Use AI to handle the bane of your existence (like scheduling and inboxes) so you can focus on the high-value work only you can do.
• Lead with Lived Experience: Your history as a caregiver, parent, or divergent thinker is a superpower; it allows you to guide AI models with more patience and better questions.
• Practice "Show Don't Tell": Don't just talk about AI; build a prototype. Use tools to visualize the backlog of ideas you once thought were impossible.

Noelle Russell is a multi-award-winning speaker, author, and AI Executive who specializes in transforming businesses through strategic AI adoption. She is a revenue growth + cost optimization expert, 4x Microsoft Responsible AI MVP, and named the #1 Agentic AI Leader in 2025. She has led teams at NPR, Microsoft, IBM, AWS and Amazon Alexa, and is a consistent champion for Data and AI literacy and is the founder of the 'I ️ AI' Community teaching responsible AI for everyone.
In this episode, Noelle Russell decode today’s AI reality—beyond the hype. She traces her path from Golden Age sci-fi and voice interfaces at Alexa to the LLM era, arguing that prompts were just the “baby tiger” moment: adorable at first, risky at scale without governance, safety, and cost controls.
Noelle unpacks the shift to multimodal experiences and why the future belongs to thoughtfully orchestrated agentic AI—systems designed around each employee’s outcomes and OKRs. We talk about the changing craft of software: PMs “vibe-coding” prototypes, engineers focusing more on code review, security, reliability, and the emerging role of the AI Solutions Architect to choreograph people, models, data, and cloud.
On pragmatics, Noelle outlines her AI Impact Assessment (start with human workflows and friction), delivering a Minimum Remarkable Product in two-week sprints, and selecting models with domain-specific SLMs, vendor ecosystems, and rigorous evaluation (think benchmarks like HELM)—not FOMO. She also shares how enterprises are moving from awareness to readiness, with boards pushing for safe adoption across finance, agriculture, and more.
We close with resources: Noelle’s new book Scaling Responsible AI: From Enthusiasm to Execution, how to keep up with the model deluge, and why culture—not tools—ultimately determines AI success.

Maven
July 11, 2026
Use Claude Fable 5 to Build an AI Chief of Staff in One Day
You're a leader. Your calendar is a war zone. Every day you're pulled into decisions that shouldn't require your attention, drowning in emails that could be triaged, sitting in briefings you could have skipped if someone had just synthesized the key points first.
You need a Chief of Staff. But hiring one takes months and costs six figures.
What if you could build one in a day?
Claude Fable 5 — the most powerful AI model ever made publicly available — is purpose-built for exactly this kind of long-horizon, high-stakes knowledge work. And in this hands-on workshop, you won't just learn about it. You'll build with it.
By the end of this single day, you'll have a functioning AI Chief of Staff that researches, synthesizes, drafts, delegates, and follows through — customized to how YOU lead.
No coding required. No PhD in AI. Just you, a clear vision of how you want to lead, and a guided build session that meets you exactly where you are.
The leaders who thrive in the next five years won't be the ones who worked harder. They'll be the ones who figured out how to multiply themselves.
This is how you do that.

Here's the big promise of the whole challenge: manufacture 40 hours of time. Not by working harder — by handing repetitive work to agents. And Day 1's path alone (pre-built agents) can realistically give you back a full week of time on its own.

I ❤️ AI Community
July 01, 2026
the VIP I ️ AI Challenge: Agentic AI Day 1: Build Agentic AI Agents for Your Business hour is about going deeper: how to push these tools further, how to lead AI responsibly, and — for those of you thinking about it — how to turn this into a business.
It was a looser, more conversational session driven by your questions, so this write-up organizes the ideas by theme rather than walking through it minute by minute. Here's everything worth keeping.
The frame Noelle left us with sums up the whole challenge: this is about AI independence. We're celebrating Independence Day this week, and in parallel we're building our own — declaring independence from the busywork by getting our time back.
