Dr Tapiwa Chiwewe is a computer engineer by training. He has worked in academia and in industry, and taken up local, regional and global roles. Tapiwa has successfully led over 30 commercial product and R&D projects across industries. His diverse teams have worked in areas such as AI, quantum computing, and sustainability. He is well known for his work on air quality management using AI. Tapiwa has provided thought leadership through some 15 authored articles and over 40 invited talks and media appearances. He is a TED speaker and his work has been covered by BBC, CNN, IEEE Spectrum, and Popular Mechanics to name a few.
