Tristan Kromer

San Francisco, United States

Hi, I’m Tristan Kromer and I help product teams go fast.

As part of my team at Kromatic, we apply lean principles with innovation teams and break down big problems in small steps. Our goal is to run at least one experiment/research per week to improve their product and business model.

For larger companies and governments, my team builds innovation ecosystems. We've worked with companies ranging from established businesses with >$10M USD revenue (Kiva, JustAnswer) to enterprise companies with > $1B USD revenue. (Unilever, Walmart, Swisscom, Fujitsu, LinkedIn)

I typically work with:
- Enterprises or governments developing an innovation ecosystem
- Accelerators implementing a lean startup curriculum

If you are an early stage startup, I volunteer my time during free office hours http://calendly.com/trikro/officehours and I blog about lean startups, innovation ecosystems, & user experience at http://GrasshopperHerder.com. Please join me there.

My lifetime goal is to create (not capture) value. I am particularly interested in creative collaboration, education, and social behavior hacks.

What Is Innovation Accounting?
Kromatic
February 24, 2021
Innovation Accounting sounds like one of those semi-humorous oxymorons like “accurate rumors,” “the rules of anarchy,” or “airline schedules.” But innovation accounting is a method for quantifying innovation investment decisions about individual projects, strategy, and capabilities.
