The Medulloblastoma Initiative (MBI) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to accelerating research to develop more effective treatments and ultimately find a cure for medulloblastoma, the most common malignant brain tumor in children.
Founded in 2021 by Fernando Goldsztein in collaboration with renowned pediatric neuro-oncologist Dr. Roger J. Packer, MBI brings together a global network of leading scientists and research institutions working under an innovative, collaborative model.
By promoting knowledge sharing, eliminating research silos, and focusing resources on the most promising scientific approaches, MBI aims to accelerate discoveries and translate research into clinical trials, bringing new hope to children and families affected by this devastating disease.
