Kelly Cristina Stéfani is the AOFAS (American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society) Women’s International Leadership Award recipient, and AOFAS Young Physicians Committee International Ambassador.
She currently works at the Technological Innovation Center of the Central Institute of Hospital das Clínicas (CITIC_InovaHC) of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo (FMUSP) and in the private practice (medical director of the Kelly Stéfani Institute of Sports Medicine).
She works in the academic area as a permanent professor registered in the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES) of the Post-Graduate Program in Health Sciences (33038015007P8), as an instructor in continuing medical education courses by Johnson & Johnson Medical Brasil and as a reviewer of scientific journals: Foot and Ankle International (FAI), Foot and Ankle Orthopedic (FAO), Foot and Ankle Surgery (FAS) and Revista Brasileira de Ortopedia (RBO).
She has experience in Medicine, with emphasis in Orthopedic Surgery, acting mainly in the following areas: innovation ecosystem, bio design, artificial intelligence, academy-industry connection, orthopedic traumatology, sports medicine, foot and ankle, diabetic foot, bone metabolism, genetics and holistic view of well-being.
