With a successful record of executive positions with high profile companies and as an industry innovation award winner, Pedram has contributed to a number of major projects and programs across Australia.
As an Executive Director of KPMG, part of its Infrastructure, Assets & Places team, Pedram is Head of Project Controls & PMO supporting his clients for Integrated Project Controls (Scope, Time, Cost, Risk & Change) and effective Project Management Office (PMO) requirements in developing and delivering major projects and programs. Prior to this, Pedram was a Technical Director with Jacobs Engineering across Asia Pacific and prior to that the Head of Planning & Risk for UGL. Pedram has experience in multiple sectors including Power Generation, Transmission Line, Pumped Hydro, Wind Farm, Solar Farm, Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), LNG/Oil & Gas, Transport and Mine Closure.
Pedram is a member of Infrastructure NSW (INSW) Expert Review Panel for cost estimation, planning/scheduling, risk and contingency modelling. He is also a member of the Engineers Australia Infrastructure Advisory Panel, a prestigious panel of industry representatives who represent Engineers Australia views and inform infrastructure policy and public affairs work by Australian Governments. In addition,
He is also an innovation award winner from Transport for NSW (TfNSW) and CPB Contractors for his exceptional knowledge and practical application of statistical analysis and the Primavera system in reviewing project risks and schedules.
Pedram is currently President of Risk Engineering Society (RES) and the key author of the 2nd Edition of national Contingency Guideline, published by Engineers Australia in 2019.
Pedram is highly skilled in Capital Projects Governance, Project Planning & Scheduling, Integrated Project Controls, Cost Estimation, Monte Carlo Simulation, Quantitative Schedule & Cost Risk Analysis (QSRA/QCRA), Earned Value (EV), and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM). Pedram is also a casual lecturer and tutor on risk management (postgraduate level) at UTS and Western Sydney University.
During his career path, Pedram has successfully helped key engineering and construction organisations within public and private sectors while working on many major projects including Snowy 2.0 (Snowy Hydro), EnergyConnect and HumeLink (Transgrid), Tarraleah Pumped Hydro Project (Hydro Tasmania), Bowmans Creek Wind Farm (AGL), Nuclear Medicine Facility (ANSTO), Byford Solar Farm (Enzen), Sydney Metro Western Sydney Airport (TfNSW), Melbourne Airport Link (Rail Projects Victoria), WestConnex, APLNG Upstream (Origin Energy), Inpex Ichthys LNG CCPP Project (UGL), Solomon Power Station (FMG), Gold Coast Rapid Rail, Critical Communication Enhancement Program (NSW Telco Authority), NBN in TAS (John Holland), NSW (Silcar Communications), and SA (ETSA), Ballina Bypass and North West T-Way (CPB Contractors) and many more.
