Charral Izhiman is a senior marketing leader with over two decades of experience across industries. She is passionate about making complex ideas simple, translating them into plain English, and enabling teams to create momentum. Throughout her career she has worked in both agency and in-house roles, with early experience in sales, customer service, communications and change management – giving her a whole-system view and a genuine appreciation for frontline roles.
British-born and a long-term expat, Charral brings a people-first lens shaped by her multicultural background and life in global melting pots. Often described as a third-culture kid, she has a keen ability to read people, transcend cultural boundaries and spot gaps in communication that can hold teams back. These observations have shaped her storytelling style and her use of relatable analogies that make abstract concepts accessible across audiences.
With a background in Computer Information Systems, she also has a grounding in technology and systems thinking that underpins her focus on digital fluency. She thrives at the intersection of creativity and technology and is an advocate for using tools – including AI – responsibly and for good, guided by governance and fuelled by creative and innovative contributions.
Her career has centred on transformation – from creating new brands and repositioning existing ones, to aligning go-to-market strategy with execution and growth. She has consistently worked at the point where marketing shifts from activity to impact, building the conditions for marketing to become a genuine business driver. The Marketing Movement is her first book.
