Project Management in Education and Academia
Linkedln
March 10, 2026
Project management might seem like a corporate discipline, but I’ve found it to be incredibly effective in education and academic environments. These institutions are often driven by complex goals, tight funding cycles, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and the need to serve a wide array of stakeholders. Sound familiar? That’s a textbook definition of a project.

Before a project even begins, one question should stop everyone in their tracks: Is this worth doing? You’d be surprised how often that question is skipped or answered with gut instinct instead of actual analysis. That’s where a feasibility study earns its keep.

February 07, 2026
Project management is a daily exercise in decision-making. Agile Coaching: Role, Impact, and the Skills Every Great Coach Needs
Linkedln
February 02, 2026
I’ve watched agile coaching evolve from a niche role to a critical success factor in many organizations—and not just in tech. But let’s be honest: not everyone understands what an agile coach really does. Some assume it’s just another word for a Scrum Master. Others think it’s about teaching frameworks like SAFe or Kanban. The truth? Agile coaching is about unlocking potential—within teams, and within organizations.

Project Scope Creep: Its Causes, Consequences, and How to Prevent It
Valens Project Consulting
January 05, 2026
If there’s one challenge I’ve seen derail even the best-planned projects, it’s scope creep. It often begins innocently, like with an added feature here, and a small request there, but gradually, those little changes snowball into a major deviation from the original plan. Suddenly, deadlines are slipping, budgets are blowing up, and the team is stretched thin.
