Team Successes: I was selected by the Governor of South Carolina to spearhead a team of 60 that helped to pass legislation creating research programs at research universities; the governor recognized my team by awarding the prestigious Order of the Palmetto.
Cutting Edge Technology: I have had the pleasures of affecting change and witnessing breakthroughs in technology as a Policy Influencer in both the automotive and telecommunications industries. I recently led a major policy initiative to test and deploy self-driving vehicles.
Influencing Policy Change: At BellSouth I designed a public policy model that is now the standard in the telecommunications industry. In the automotive industry, I was an essential part of the team that passed laws enabling the deployment of self-driving vehicles.
Focus: I apply my skills and abilities to solve bleeding edge concepts like cyber security, data protection, and life-changing consumer products like self-driving cars, etc. Also, solving challenges around government regulations and global laws that influence the regulatory approach to information privacy.
