Tech Change & Communications Consultant, Freelancer, Creative, Writer, Speaker, Facilitator, & Published Author at Light Spark Group Limited

Shiny new tech is great, but it doesn't run itself. It runs on people.

I specialise in the people side of change. As a Change and Comms Consultant, I bridge the gap between technical delivery and user adoption. I ensure your workforce is informed, empowered, and *dare I say* excited about the future.

Beyond the day job, there is:

???? The Book: I’m the co-author of Allyship Actually. Which is all about enabling women to feel less alone and allowing men to course correct.

? The Advocacy: I’m a feminist on a mission to help more women navigate and dominate + break into the IT contracting market... because the industry is better when it's inclusive.

???? The Skillset: I’m an ex-practicing ICF qualified coach + ex-podcast host. Today, I use those skills to facilitate workshops and stand in a role as a public speaker where I cover topics across allyship, women in tech, IT contracting and portfolio careers.

Allyship Actually – Why it’s ‘We’ and not ‘Me’
ITGP
November 19, 2024
Allyship Actually follows Lucy – a spirited newcomer to the tech industry – and David – a seasoned professional – as their paths and those of other characters cross in unexpected ways, against a bustling London backdrop.

Based on real-life events, the narrative vividly depicts Lucy and David’s frustration with outdated work cultures, and their efforts to support colleagues suffering inequity or harassment.

As the characters launch initiatives to change attitudes, we understand the importance of allyship in our professional lives. Lucy and David show us how allyship, when championed effectively, can advance transformation and inclusion within the workplace.

Because when women enter the contracting market, we don’t just break
gender stereotypes... we shatter them. We build high-earning careers, claim our
time back, and create a level of financial freedom that permanent roles rarely offer.
