Isolde Kanikani is the Transformation & OCM Delivery Lead at Plat4mation, a leading service provider of ServiceNow solutions and the inherent large scale transformations that come with this Platform of Platforms. With over 15 years of experience in change management, organizational development, and digital strategy, she helps clients realize their transformation goals and build change capability across their organizations. She holds an MBA and a Master of Science in Human Resources Management, as well as a number of certifications in Prosci, APMG Change Management, ServiceNow, and Microsoft.


As Delivery Lead, Isolde is responsible for setting up and leading the Transformation, Change and Adoption Capability at Plat4mation. She is Vice president and global board member at the Association of Change Management Professionals (ACMP), where she contributes to the advancement of the change management profession and the ACMP community. Additionally, she is the founder of FUTURE:CM, a network that fosters change management innovation and learning. Isolde regularly speaks on topics of Transformation, Change and governance. As a researcher and innovator she has written a number of publications, whitepapers and book chapters that show case her work and share it with the world. The word "culture" derives from a French term, which in turn derives from the Latin "colere," which means to tend to the earth and grow, or cultivation and nurture. "It shares its etymology with a number of other words related to actively fostering growth," (Zimmermann). If this were to be believed, why is it then that a company’s culture is so often named as one of the big reasons why change projects are less successful? What then is the understanding of culture we all use when telling stories about companies whose culture stopped real intrinsic adoption and ate change for breakfast? For me culture has been an elusive beast, and why I am now engaging in an active search for some kind of understanding about it’s true nature. I am on a search to find out what serves both culture and change synonymously, letting us people side of change explorers delve a little deeper into this phenomenon we often underestimate. My first step is to question if there is such a thing as healthy culture and properly managed change?

ChangeOps: Strategically Harnessing All Types of Change to Create Increased Effectiveness and Operational Flow of value to our customers.

Abstract
Operational flow is the life blood of an organisation and the way it delivers value to customers. Too many interruptions will not only slow down flow but can stop it all together. This is not a sustainable possibility for an organisation or the smaller units that form it. The Flow of value and change is intrinsically connected when looking to increase value outputs. Strategically using different types of change to increase flow, brings a return on investment at the project level and a cumulative ROI overall as flow brought by ChangeOps increases across the organisation in an interlinked system of influence and output.

Diagnosing Organisations: Everything Is Vague to a Degree – You Do Not Realise Until You Have Tried to Make It Precise

Abstract
Diagnosing organisations is a chapter that explores the intrinsic relationship between organisational purpose, the people and value creation in relation to organisational structures. Without structure we can't be aware of what we are changing or monitor if we are effectively achieving our organisational purpose. Structure in the form of governance, an operating system or organisation design can be built to fight or embrace change. People can be taught to do the same. With the application of change maturity built on organisational structures and people management coupled with a search to maximise value through creating continuously adaptive organisational systems, we can equip organisations with the tools they need to not only survive but thrive. By questioning the basic building blocks of organising, this text establishes not only factors that we could measure in our diagnosis of organisations, but establishes a set of invitations that are more profound in the sense that they offer strategic choice and development of our concept of organising and organisations.
