I have published a book on Unlearning that outlines the various aspects of Unlearning and it’s significance in personal or organizational transformation journey.
I have been leading Digital Transformation programs over the past 15+ years for diverse industries such as Defence, Automotive & Banking with exposure to various technologies like Business Process Management, Institutional Payments, Cloud, Infrastructure and Communication Networks along with ways of working in Agile & DevOps.
In my most recent role as Head of Transformation at Societe Generale, I had the opportunity to build a transformation tribe & strategized transformation roadmaps for new ways of working through Scaled Agile implementation, Cloud Migration of legacy applications to AWS, utilising Service Oriented Architecture (APIs), establishing Continuous Integrations & Continuous Delivery platform and building high performing teams adopting DevOps culture and practices. Through these programs, we transformed people from both technologies and support functions like Risk, HR, Digital, Compliance, Legal, Data, Finance & Digital Domains.
I was also identified as the Senior Expert on Tools, Methodologies and Frameworks Domain of Global Expertise program and am also part of Ment2BExpert, a coaching & mentoring program to build expert leadership within the group.
I have devised and delivered “Leader as a Coach”, an experiential leadership development program for senior leaders to help them adopt Servant Leadership style and competencies.
I have been a mentor & reviewer of internal start-up ideas promoted through CATALYST, our flagship program to promote internal start-up and innovation culture.
I have successfully lead one of the largest Payments transformation programs in Australian Banking history, New Payment Platform (NPP) for transforming Institutional Payments Business & Technology systems and Operational Process Transformation(OPT) Program for ANZ Bank and have won the CIO Award for Delivery Excellence in 2015.
I have been a Jury Member on World Agility Forum, proposal reviewer for Agile Alliance, GHCI 2020, Agility Today, Technical Agility Conferences.

However, with disruption being the new constant, the world has moved on from VUCA to BANI (Brittle, Anxious, Non-Linear & Incomprehensible). We need organizations to be much more adaptable and be able to pivot their strategies preempting the change than responding to change.
For Organizations to be adaptive, we need clear definition of objectives at an enterprise level and how the objectives at different layers of the organization right from the Portfolios, Products / Services, Value Streams, to the Team Level contribute and align to accomplishing the overall objectives. Adaptive Organizations also need the visibility to alignment of metrics and governance across the length and breadth of the organization. Most Organizations feel Governance is all about tracking the portfolio performance and the funds being spent, whereas it about much more than that. Governance is also about revisiting the portfolio composition as well as the effectiveness & relevance of the processes and practices being applied within the portfolios.
The thought process of the Executives, the leadership and everyone else in the organization needs to move from "How well can we manage disruption?" to "How can we disrupt the business environment or domain to be the leaders?".

Active listening, a technique that is used in many different contexts, is the process of being present to the coachee during a coaching conversation, listening to what is being spoken and more importantly what is not being spoken. This involves clarifying and validating our understanding of what someone says by asking them questions. This can help to address any misunderstanding, as well as provide clarity for the coachee about what they are speaking and what emotions or mental model is driving it. The best way to practice active listening is to be curious about the cocahee, avoid interrupting, ask clarifying questions when needed, and summarize our understanding of the conversation time to time to make sure we are still with the coachee on what is being said. Active listening helps to build rapport & trust between coach & the coachee especially when it is devoid of judgement and leads to more effective communication overall.
