It’s fire season here in Israel.

Just a couple weeks ago, a couple hundred people were lucky to escape with their lives from Highway 1 between the Center and Jerusalem.

After a (too-) dry winter, the land is parched.

A day with particularly brutal winds that spread a fire set by negligent campers (and a few Arab arsonists piggybacking) right along one of the main arteries of the country, with insane speed.
