Before the age of 20, I sold my life story to Sony TriStar for the movie, “Race the Sun.” I was President of the first high school team to design and build a solar-powered car that completed the 2000-mile World Solar Challenge race across Australia’s outback, coming in 4th in our class of vehicle. My faculty advisor opined it was because no one told us it couldn't be done.
