I am a highly experienced pharma/chemical sourcing and supply chain expert. Working for Eli Lilly and Company and Evonik Corporation for over 30 years, I traveled extensively in Asia, Europe, and the US to evaluate hundreds of potential suppliers of raw materials, advanced intermediates, starting materials, and API's. Long term supply relationships and supply agreements were established to manage spend in excess of $50 million/year while generating cost savings and cost avoidance of over $7 MM/year for several successive years. Annual risk assessments of supply chains were used to mitigate supply risk for some of the most important company products. As an officer as well as volunteer in the Drug, Chemical & Associated Technologies Association, Inc. (DCAT), I have been very fortunate to established a great relationship with leaders of the pharmachemical industry that I value for the friendships as well as the business relationships. I remain active in connecting suppliers and customers to optimize their supply chains and locate hard to find materials and facilities to meet their most urgent needs.
